Day 1 - Travel to Sight and Sound to See Queen Esther
We will be leaving from New Philadelphia and make our way to the Lancaster, PA, home of the famous Sight and Sound Theater. We will spend time this afternoon in historic Lititz, PA, voted the “Coolest Small Town in America”. We’ll tour the Sturgis Pretzel factory, try twisting our own pretzels and enjoy the oldest pretzel factory in America. The Wilbur Chocolate Factory is a must, and you’ll have time to shop in the many quaint stores and enjoy dinner on your own.
This evening we will enjoy the beautiful Fulton Steamboat Inn for our night stay.
Day 2 - Lititz, PA
After a good nights rest a full breakfast will be served before a little shopping time, then its off to Sight & Sound Theater. Queen Esther is the story of an innocent girl who’s life changed forever when she was taken through the palace doors. With a crown on her head and a secret in her heart, did she have the courage to trust God’s plan? With beautiful sets, costumes, and professional acting and singing, we’ll enjoy this Old Testament story told as only Sight and Sound Theater can do! After a stellar performance we will feast at Millers Smorgasbord before heading home.
