Day One, Tuesday Sep 26, 2023
Depart for your overseas flight to Dublin. While on board your overnight flight, you will have both dinner and breakfast included before touching down in Ireland. (Dinner on plane)
Day Two, Wednesday Sep 27, 2023
Dunboyne Castle Hotel Upon Arrival in Dublin, your tour Escort will assist you through customs and afterwards the group will be greeted by Mr. McGoey your Irish motorcoach driver while in Ireland. A great day to rest up after a long night and enjoy the old town of Dublin and maybe do a little shopping. (Breakfast on plane, Dinner)
Day Three, Thursday Sep 28, 2023
Today, on our Dublin City Tour, we visit Trinity College, home of the “Book of Kells,” St. Patricks Church and even get a chance to ring the bells at Christ Church Cathedral! No visit to Dublin is complete without a visit to the Guinness Storehouse where we will enjoy a complimentary pint of Guinness! Next enjoy dinner & evening of Irish music & dance at the Merry Ploughboy Pub (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Four, Friday Sep 29, 2023
We depart Dublin for the beautiful Ireland countryside . Our next two nights will be at the Lough Eske Castle on shores of Lough Eske. On our way we will visit Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland, and Belleek Pottery. Dinner tonight will be at Lough Eske, a five star castle. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Five, Saturday Sep 30, 2023
Take time to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the castle! Today we also visit the highlands and coast of Donegal with a visit to Glenveigh National Park in the Derryveagh mountains. Covering nearly 25,000 acres, the park has some dramatic mountain scenery and protects the largest herd of red deer in Ireland. Tonight another fantastic castle dinner. (Breakfast and Dinner)
Day Six, Sunday October 1, 2023
As we leave our first castle stay we are heading for another, Ballynahinch! On our way we will visit the quaint little town of Westport and see the summit of the mountain that Saint Patrick fasted for forty days in 441 AD. Being a small port town you will find the best seafood chowder that Ireland has to offer! Next it’s onto visit and tour “Kylemore Abbey & Walled Victorian Garden”, and the story of Kylemore is a truly remarkable one. Castle dinner tonight. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Seven, Monday October 2, 2023
You may want to spend the day at Ballynahinch, Voted number one in Ireland, this Castle Hotel sits on a private 450 acre estate of woodland, rivers and walks. You may even choose to fly fish or Skeet shoot! For those who wish, late morning we will tour South Connemara, from the bogs and lakes of the Gaelic speaking region, to the mountain vistas, Connemara’s wild beauty is due to its remote location and is largely unspoiled. Also included is a stop at “Celtic Crystal” which has been creating Celtic Designs and Gaelic Motifs into its ornate Irish Crystal. A personal lead crystal cutting demonstration is also included! Before returning to our castle dinner we will spend a little free time in Galway City. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Eight, Tuesday October 3, 2023
Depart for Killarney with a stop in Galway and then continue along the Wild Atlantic Way through the Burren to the famous Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland’s most visited natural attraction with a magical vista that will capture your heart. Standing over 700 feet high they stretch for 5 miles. On a clear day one can see the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Our stay for the next two nights is the Killarney Plaza Hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Nine, Wednesday October 4, 2023
Today, as we drive the “Ring of Kerry”, soaking in the majestic views, we will experience “Brendan Ferris”’ sheep dogs in Action, a Woolen Mill and have lunch at the “Blind Piper” Pub. For those that like to golf, the “Killarney Golf & Fishing Club” is open to you. This is where the Irish Open has been played many times. (Tee times must be pre-set up) (Breakfast & Lunch)
Day Ten, Thursday October 5, 2023
A visit to the Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping is followed by Blarney Castle where legend has it that kissing the Blarney Stone will make you “Eloquent”. Next, we visit Old Midleton Distillery for an Irish whiskey tasting. Tonight’s stay is an Irish Country Manor, Killashee House. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Eleven, Friday October 6, 2023
Today A visit to the “Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens” will features Ireland’s thoroughbred industry that is home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens to be found anywhere in the world. A stop to a local silver business and shopping is in order and this afternoon is ours to relax and enjoy the spa and gardens at the Killashee House. For the golfers another day for golf! (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Twelve, Saturday October 7, 2023
