Day One - Thursday Sept 17, 2020 - Salt Lake City - Doubletree by Hilton
Arrive Salt Lake City, the start of the “Majestic West” tour! In Salt Lake City, you will experience the beautiful landscape and historic buildings of Temple Square – one of Utah’s top tourist attractions. Just four days after arriving in the Salt Lake valley following an arduous trek across the Great Plains, Mormon pioneers designated the location where they would build their church’s first temple in this valley. Although the Salt Lake Temple took 40 years to complete once ground was broken, the area surrounding the temple became the center of the city, due to activity at the tabernacle and ongoing construction on the temple. Salt Lake’s gridded street system places Temple Square as its origin; each address is an indication of how many blocks north, south, east or west that address lies from Temple Square. Tonights welcome dinner reception will be at “The Garden Restaurant” with views of Temple Square and downtown Salt Lake.

Day Two - Friday Sept 18, 2020 - Snake River Lodge & Spa
Today we traverse the beautiful country of Wyoming on our way to Jackson Hole. Our home for the next two nights is the Snake River Lodge and Spa. This resort is situated at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain in the heart of Teton Village, just 300 feet from the world-famous Jackson Hole Mountain Aerial Tram and one mile to Grand Teton National Park.
This evenings dinner experience takes us to the Bar J Chuckwagon Western and Music Show. From early in the 1800’s cowboys rode the western range. On the cattle drive, every long, hard day in the saddle was followed by an evening meal, tall tales and music around the chuckwagon. Originated on a working cattle ranch, the Bar J Chuckwagon takes you back to the spirit of the old west with a relaxing atmosphere, rib stickin’ meal and authentic cowboy entertainment.

Day Three - Saturday Sept 19, 2020 - Snake River Lodge & Spa
Todays is certainly a bucket list experience, a scenic float trip down the majestic Snake River in the Tetons. This 13 mile float trip affords fantastic views of the Teton and Snake River Mountain Ranges and offers a variety of wildlife viewing opportunities. This area is renowned for its abundant Bald Eagle population. You will definitely see these magnificent creatures and you may also see Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Sandhill Cranes and a variety of hawks and falcons as well as our resident population of White Pelicans, a rare sight this far from the ocean.
You will certainly have time today to enjoy the complete Jackson Hole EXPERIENCE. You may wish to take the Jackson Hole Mountain Aerial Tram and shoppe in the Teton Village or maybe a visit in town where you can find one of the iconic watering holes, rife with the history of the West which is steeped in cowboy tradition. You can straddle a saddle at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and listen to live music while two-stepping and boot-scooting across the dance floor. Just around the corner from the Cowboy Bar, is the historical Wort Hotel, where more than 4,000 1921 uncirculated Morgan silver dollars are embedded in the bar, which is aptly named: SILVER DOLLAR BAR! No trip to Jackson Hole would be complete without attending “Sunday Church” at the Stagecoach Bar, where you can dance with a cowboy or cowgirl if you so choose as the famous Stagecoach Band plays on through the night. Day Four - Sunday Sept 20, 2020 - 320 Guest Ranch
ellowstone National Park day today! Established on March 1, 1872, the park is the world’s first, and is a 3,500 square mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho too. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It’s also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope. Lower Falls, the biggest waterfall in Yellowstone, is the most famous in the Park, hands down. In fact, the 308-foot tall waterfall it is most likely the second most photographed spot in Yellowstone, with Old Faithful Geyser being the first.
Next we will experience a 110 year old homestead – reshaped into a Montana guest ranch. Relive the early western atmosphere and down-home hospitality – all in one big beautiful, historic property. 320 Guest Ranch history affords an intriguing window into the early days of Western tourism and Big Sky back in the day. The historical guest ranch journey began in 1898, when Sam Wilson homesteaded 160 acres along the Gallatin River. In 1900, Sam´ s father, Clinton, claimed an adjoining 160 acres and they combined their two properties, naming the stunning parcel the “Buffalo Horn Resort.” On January 16, 1936, Dr. Caroline McGill, a woman far ahead of her time, purchased the ranch from the Wilson family. In addition to being Montana’s first woman doctor and first pathologist, Dr. McGill was an avid hunter and fisher. She believed that time spent outdoors was physically and mentally beneficial and bought the ranch as a retreat for her patients and friends.
Tonights dinner is an old fashion wagon ride and pig roast with some beautiful views.
