Prepare yourself for fun at laughter as you step back in time at the Lucy Desi Museum. Visit the sets of the “I Love Lucy” show and recall a simpler time. From there, we keep on laughing at the National Comedy Center that celebrates giant comedians, like Lily Tomlin, late-night hosts through the years, and many others. The night is capped off at Tropicana Club, a pleasing atmosphere that recreates the ambiance of Ricky Ricardo’s famous Manhattan night club. (Dinner)
Day 2 - Fairfield Inn & Suites Corning
We start the day with the “Lucy Driving Tour” as we depart Jamestown on our way to Watkins Glenn, NY. It is a time to relax, take in the sights of the fall foliage as we cruise on Seneca Lake for a fabulous lunch with Oktoberfest music, German fare, and beer. Then, we continue traveling east to Corning, NY to check into the hotel and you are invited to explore the quaint Gaffer District for shopping and dinner on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 3 - Wells Penn Hotel
Today we visit the “Corning Museum of Glass with lunch on your own at the café. We head south to Pennsylvania and arrive at Leonard Harris State Park. This park offers the incredible views of the “Pennsylvania Grand Canyon”, especially in the fall with vibrant, changing colors. Delight in mesmerizing waterfalls, walking bridges, hiking trails, changing colors, and a scenic tour in a covered wagon! After a day in nature, we journey to the hotel for dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4 - Return to New Philadelphia
Our last phenomenal experience is the Kinzua Bridge Visitor Center and Overlook. This once massive structure spanned the entire valley to transport trains from one mountain top to another. Witness the devastating power of nature and the astonishing views from the bridge overlook. From there, we begin our journey home, with lunch on your own during the trip. (Breakfast)
