Depart for your overseas flight to Dublin. While on board your overnight flight, you will have both dinner and breakfast included before touching down in Ireland. (Dinner & Breakfast on plane)
Upon arrival in Dublin, your tour Escort will assist you through customs and afterwards the group will be greeted by your Irish guide. A great day to rest up after a long night and enjoy the old town of Dublin and maybe do a little shopping. This afternoon we will check into the Kilkenny River Court Hotel. This evening we will get acquainted with our fellow travelers at our welcome dinner reception. (Dinner)
Today we visit the Kilkenny Castle which has been an important site since Strongbow constructed it in the 12th century. Take time this afternoon to enjoy a visit and tasting at the “Smithwick’s Experience” and this evening stroll the streets of this quaint Irish town to shop and find an Irish pub for a dinner on own. (Breakfast)
A visit to the Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping is followed by Blarney Castle where legend has it that kissing the Blarney Stone will make you “Eloquent”. Next indulge in some great shopping at Blarney Woolen Mills before checking into the Randles hotel in Killarney for a two-night stay. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Depart for our day of touring on the “Ring of Kerry”. The Ring is world renowned for its beautiful views and we will experience a sheep dog demonstration and have an included lunch at a seaside restaurant. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Depart for Connemara with a stop along the Wild Atlantic Way through the Burren to the famous Cliffs of Moher. Standing over 700
feet high the cliffs stretch for 5 miles. On a clear day one can see the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. The next two-night stay is at
Ballynahinch Castle Hotel. Ballynahinch Castle Hotel is renowned for its scenic beauty, outdoor activities, and excellent hospitality. The hotel itself is a historic property, originally built as a castle in the 17th century, and it has been converted into a charming hotel. Enjoy a Leisurely morning on the grounds of Ballynahinch Castle and for those that wish we will take an excursion into Galway. Take a ramble down Quay Street with its many great restaurants, pubs and street entertainers. Return to Ballynahinch for another great castle dinner. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Today’s highlight is a visit to Kylemore Abbey & Walled Victorian Garden”. Kylemore is a beautiful and iconic Benedictine monastery
located in the Connemara region of County Galway, Ireland. This historic estate is renowned for its stunning architecture, picturesque
location, fascinating history, and walled gardens. Our next two nights will be at Lough Eske Castle Hotel on the shores of Lough Eske. Lough Eske is one of Ireland’s top castle hotels which has been ranked by Travel & Leisure magazine as one of the top places in the world to stay. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Take time to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the castle! Today we also experience a cruise of Donegal Bay and a weaving demonstration at Triona’s woolen shop and store. (Breakfast and Dinner)
Upon arriving in Dublin we will make visits to the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College featuring the “Book of Kells” and will end our tour with a night of Irish music and dance at the “Merry Ploughboy Club”. (Breakfast & Dinner)
