Your Itinerary
Day One
Depart for your overseas flight to Dublin. While on board your overnight flight, you will have both dinner and breakfast included before touching down in Ireland. (Dinner on plane)
Day Two
Upon arrival in Dublin, your tour Escort will assist you through customs and afterwards the group will be greeted by Mr. McGoey, your Irish motorcoach driver while in Ireland. A great day to rest up after a long night and enjoy the old town of Dublin and maybe do a little shopping. This afternoon we will check into the K Club, one of Ireland’s top Castle Hotels! This evening we will get acquainted with our fellow travelers at our welcome dinner reception. (Breakfast on plane, Dinner)
Day Three
Today we visit the Powerscourt Gardens which are among the finest in Ireland, both for their design and for their dramatic setting at the foot of the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain. Next, we visit St. Kevin’s 6th century monastery at Glendalough., the steep wooded slopes of Glendalough and the “valley of the two lakes” which harbors one of Ireland’s most impressive monastic settlements. Take time later this afternoon to enjoy the spa and gardens at the K Club. For the golfers a chance for a day of golf! (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Four
A visit to the Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping is followed by Blarney Castle where legend has it that kissing the Blarney Stone will make you “Eloquent”. Next, we visit Old Midleton Distillery for an Irish whiskey tasting. Last, we pass over the Cork/Kerry Mountains via the Irish speaking villages of Ballymakeery & Ballyvourney. Tonight’s stay is at the Randles hotel in Killarney. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Five
Today on the “Ring of Kerry” we will experience “Brendan Ferris”’ sheep dogs, a Woolen Mill and have lunch at the “Blind Piper” Pub. For those that like to golf, the “Killarney Golf Club” is open to you. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day Six
Depart for Connemara with a stop along the Wild Atlantic Way through the Burren to the famous Cliffs of Moher. Standing over 700 feet high the cliffs stretch for 5 miles. On a clear day one can see the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Tonight’s stay is at Ballynahinch Castle Hotel (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Seven
You may want to spend the day at Ballynahinch, voted number one in Ireland, this Castle Hotel sits on a private 450-acre estate of woodland, rivers and walks. You may even choose to fly fish or Skeet shoot! For those who wish, late in the morning we will tour South Connemara, from the bogs and lakes of the Gaelic speaking region to the mountain vistas, Connemara’s wild beauty is due to its remote location and is largely unspoiled. Also included is a stop at “Celtic Crystal” which has been creating Celtic Designs and Gaelic Motifs into its ornate Irish Crystal. A personal lead crystal cutting demonstration. is also included! Before returning to our castle dinner, we will spend a little free time in Galway City. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Eight
On our way to Donegal, we visit Westport and St. Patrick’s Mountain. Being a small port town, you will find the best seafood chowder that Ireland has to offer! Next, we visit Kylemore Abbey & Walled Victorian Garden”. Our next two nights will be at Lough Eske Castle Hotel on the shores of Lough Eske. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Nine
Take time to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the castle! Today we also visit the highlands and coast of Donegal with a visit to Glenveigh National Park. Tonight, another fantastic castle dinner at the award winning five-star Lough Eske Castle Hotel. (Breakfast and Dinner)
Day Ten
We depart for Dublin with a tour of the world-famous Belleek Pottery. Our last two nights will be at a beautiful castle hotel on the outskirts of Dublin. (Breakfast and Dinner)
Day Eleven
Today, on our Dublin City tour, we visit Trinity College, home of the “Book of Kells”, St. Patricks’ Church, Guinness! and more. Tonight, at our farewell dinner, we will enjoy an evening of Irish music & dinner at the Merry Ploughboy Pub. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day Twelve
Travel home today with Grand memories of Ireland! (Breakfast & Lunch on plane)
