Day One

Our adventure begins with a behind-the-scenes tour at The Parade Company in Detroit, where you’ll see how the magic of America’s Thanksgiving Parade comes to life through massive, hand-crafted floats. Afterward, we travel to the charming town of Frankenmuth to check in at the beautiful Bavarian Inn Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening and a delicious included dinner in the heart of Michigan’s “Little Bavaria.” (D)

Day Two

Start the day with a fun and flavorful pretzel-making class followed by a guided tour of the Frankenmuth area, showcasing the town’s rich heritage and Bavarian charm. After enjoying lunch on your own in this picturesque village, we journey north to beautiful Traverse City, where we’ll check into the centrally located Park Place Hotel. This evening, relax and enjoy an included dinner at one of the area’s delightful local restaurants. (B,D)

Day Three

Today we set out to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, with its sweeping views of Lake Michigan and dramatic sandscapes. We’ll return to Traverse City in the early afternoon, giving you time to explore the shops, waterfront, or relax at your own pace. This evening, prepare to be amazed by the International Fireworks Competition, a spectacular showcase of pyrotechnic artistry lighting up the night sky. (B)

Day Four

This morning we travel south to Muskegon, where we’ll enjoy an included lunch before boarding an afternoon cruise on Lake Michigan, taking in the fresh air and scenic shoreline views. From there, we continue to Grand Rapids and check into the elegant Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Tonight, relax and unwind with an included dinner at one of the city’s popular local restaurants. Day Five

Our final day features a visit to the stunning Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, home to world-class gardens, inspiring artwork, and the breathtaking Chihuly glass exhibit. Enjoy time to explore at your own pace before we gather for an included lunch on the grounds. With hearts full and cameras full, we begin our journey home, wrapping up a memorable Michigan adventure.
