From Ford to Falls, Canada Calls

Day One

Today’s tour begins at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, where you’ll explore American history through exhibits on transportation and technology. Next, the Ford Rouge Factory Tour offers a close-up view of the assembly line where Ford’s F-Series trucks are made. Afterward, cross the border to Caesars Windsor Casino Hotel in Canada, featuring luxurious rooms, gourmet dining, and Detroit River views. Enjoy the vibrant casino with slots, table games, and evening entertainment. (Dinner) 

Day Two

This morning, the VIA train offers a scenic journey from Windsor to Toronto, passing through Southern Ontario’s diverse landscapes. The ride shifts from rural tranquility to the suburban and industrial areas near Toronto, with comfortable seating and large windows providing a peaceful way to experience the province. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a Toronto City Tour, visiting landmarks like the CN Tower for panoramic views of the city and Lake Ontario, followed by stops to sample local flavors and discover artisan goods. In the late afternoon, we’ll check into the Chelsea Hotel, then enjoy dinner at the renowned Hot House Cafe, known for its welcoming atmosphere and diverse menu. (Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner)

Day Three

Your day in Toronto starts with a visit to Casa Loma, the city’s iconic castle, where you’ll explore early 20th-century elegance. The castle’s grand architecture, towers, turrets, and gardens transport you to a storybook setting. Inside, highlights include the Great Hall, the Conservatory with its marble floors, and panoramic views of the city. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing Harbor Cruise on Lake Ontario, passing Toronto’s islands, lagoons, and marinas, with the city skyline as a stunning backdrop. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day Four

Your day begins with lunch at the iconic Skylon Tower. The revolving dining room offers a 360-degree view of the Falls and surrounding landscapes and after lunch we will enjoy an exhilarating Niagara Falls cruise. Boarding the Niagara City Cruises boat, you’ll get up close to the Horseshoe Falls and Ponchos are provided as you experience the power of the Falls from a thrilling, close-up view.

Continuing your tour, we travel along the scenic Niagara Parkway to visit the Floral Clock, one of the largest and most intricate of its kind in the world. This stunning landmark, adorned with thousands of colorful plants arranged in seasonal designs, is a popular stop for photos and offers a relaxing pause in your day of exploration. Last we visit the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, known for its charming historic architecture and world-class wineries. At a local winery, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting experience that introduces you to some of the region’s best wines, including the famed ice wine, crafted from grapes harvested in winter’s frosty chill.
