Your Itinerary
Day One
After your morning flight, we’ll check into the charming Bienville House, located in the heart of the historic French Quarter. This vibrant neighborhood is where old-world charm meets modern flair—you’ll fin d a reimagined French Market, stylish boutiques, and artisan cocktail bars alongside antique shops and some of New Orleans’ most iconic restaurants. This evening, enjoy New Orleans on your own.
Day Two
Start the morning with a hearty breakfast before we set out on a guided city tour that showcases the best of New Orleans. Our local expert brings the city’s history to life as we explore the charming outskirts, visit peaceful St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, roll through City Park, and stroll the Sculpture Garden. We’ll also swing past the storied Lower Garden District and enjoy time at Café Du Monde. After returning to the hotel, we head to the iconic Brennan’s Restaurant for a memorable lunch featuring classic New Orleans flavors. In the afternoon, the fun continues at Mardi Gras World, where you’ll step behind the scenes to see how the legendary floats come to life. The evening is yours to relax, dine, or wander at your own pace back in the French Quarter.
Day Three
We begin the day with the famous Jazz Breakfast at Court of Two Sisters, where you can enjoy classic New Orleans dishes while live music sets the tone for a relaxed and memorable morning. From there, we stroll to Jackson Square for a private one-hour carriage ride through the historic French Quarter, offering a charming and leisurely way to see the city’s iconic architecture and stories. The afternoon is yours to explore—shop, relax, visit museums, or simply wander the Quarter at your own pace. In the evening, we come together for a hands-on New Orleans School of Cooking demonstration dinner, featuring corn and crab bisque, chicken and sausage jambalaya, bananas foster, and fresh pralines, along with beer, wine, and soft drinks. After this flavorful feast, it’s a pleasant walk back to the hotel for the night.
Day Four
Today we venture beyond the city to experience the landscapes, wildlife, and history that shape southern Louisiana. Our morning begins with a guided Cajun Pride Swamp Tour, where you’ll glide through the bayou and learn about the ecosystems and wildlife that make this region so unique. Afterward, we enjoy boxed picnic lunches at the swamp’s shaded tables before continuing to the breathtaking Oak Alley Plantation. With its famous alley of 300-year-old oak trees, this historic estate offers time to explore the grounds at your own pace, along with scheduled small-group entries into the antebellum mansion for a guided tour. We return to the hotel for a short break before ending the day aboard the Creole Queen for a scenic evening dinner cruise on the Mississippi River—good food, live music, and classic river views make this a perfect New Orleans night.
Day Five
We close our New Orleans adventure with a meaningful visit to the National WWII Museum, one of the country’s top-rated museums and a powerful tribute to the stories of the Greatest Generation. You’ll have several hours to explore the exhibits, films, and immersive experiences at your own pace. In the early afternoon, we gather with luggage and depart for the airport, carrying home the flavors, music, and memories of an unforgettable week in New Orleans.
