Leave the bright lights of Las Vegas behind and venture into the canyonlands and red rocks of southern Utah. Our first stop is Hoover Dam where we go behind the scenes to see how this marvel of engineering was carved out of the Colorado River’s Black Canyon. Next, we experience Zion National Park via a private tram tour led by a park ranger. The park is famous for its dramatic red and white sandstone formations, canyons, and rock arches. Some of the most iconic formations in Zion include Angels Landing, The Narrows, and the Zion Canyon. (Breakfast & Dinner)
This morning we travel to Bryce Canyon which is known for its stunning and distinctive geological features, particularly its thousands of hoodoos. After lunch in the lodge, we travel to “Lake Powell Resort” for a two-night stay overlooking the beautiful lake. (Breakfast & Lunch)
Our first adventure today will be a float trip on the Colorado River. This ride around Horseshoe Bend is an exhilarating and picturesque adventure, offering a unique perspective on one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the American Southwest. In the afternoon we will explore the beauty of Antelope Canyon. This slot canyon is known for its extraordinary natural beauty with narrow sandstone walls and winding passageways. (Breakfast & Dinner Cruise)
On our way to Moab, we will have lunch in the outback of Monument Valley while on our jeep tour. This area is known for its stunning red sandstone buttes, mesas, and spires that rise dramatically from the desert floor, creating a landscape that is instantly recognizable and has been featured in numerous movies, commercials, and photographs. (Breakfast & Lunch)
Today we explore two of the Nation’s most notable National Parks, Arches & Canyonlands. These parks are renowned for their unique geological formations, towering arches, deep canyons, and the confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers. Arches is home to over 2,000 natural stone arches, making it the world’s largest concentration of such formations including the most famous arche in the park, “Delicate Arch”. (Breakfast & Dinner)
The first stop in Salt Lake City is the state’s capital building. This marvel, completed in 1916, is perched atop Capitol Hill, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the city and mountains. Our last place to visit is the famous Salt Lake Temple Square.
